MOLLY HANSEN PRITTS is a film and video-maker and educator based in Los Angeles, California.

Her work has screened at AFI Fest, Bradford International, CPHPIX, Los Angeles Film Festival, REDCAT, Rotterdam, Starz Denver, San Francisco International, and Viennale. She received the James Elrod Memorial Foundation Scholarship, the CalArts Award, and was selected to the Sony Spectrum Internship Program. Currently, she is an Artist-in-Residence for the CalArts Community Arts Partnership.

Molly is a faculty member at Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, California. She is the former managing director of the IFP/Chicago, and was an associate programmer of feature films for the Los Angeles Film Festival. Molly got her start in New York City on Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Molly's dedication to cinema education led her to create CINEMA 1 which she founded in 2014 to promote cinema culture, education, and equality through curriculum development, workshops, productions, writings, and exhibitions.

She received her MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
